Because right now I am sitting in a fairly undusty house, still more cleaning to do, with lights that don't work, all fuses in the kitchen actually pops if I try to charge my mobile in one of the sockets ; ) Fireproof? No but nice looking, good thing I live in a house of wood that is almost 200 years old ; )
I am also blessed with a beautiful gas stove that you can't cook on, not connected to the gas... a bathroom floor that is freezing, no heat installed yet. Taps still missing, but brushing your teeth in the kitchen has never been a problem...the list goes on and on. It is actually 3 pages long, handed over to Fredrik who unfortunately no longer is on my favorite list of builders to deal with.
Am I happy or just miserable then? I am miserhappy...going back and forth between frustration, hope and joy. Because I love my house despite the fact that I can't wash my clothes or cook anything on my stove. It is still great to be here, who cares if it means living on the verge of chaotic mess and breakdown for a few more days?
The list?
Way to oo long to write or translate for that matter. My hopes are that we will be able to brush our teeth in the bath room and cook a real meal by Friday night, and in order to do I have actually taken 2 days off from work, both for the sake of my poor colleagues who has had to put up with my rollercoaster moods for some time now, and for my own feeling of taking back control. AND I still have to leave the old behind, where do I go from here ?
