It's a great thing to move from 108 sqm to a house that is 3 times it's size because it really brings creativity and feng shui to a whole new dimension. This weekend was dedicated to moving in..making my home mine...and with it, it brought the realistion that I don't really care about my 3 page list and anger anymore. I have a house and it feels fantastic. I can play my music as load as I want to, the kids can run around like crazy and I hardly hear them. It's ok we got the space for it!
What I don't have is the furniture so this Sunday I spent 4 hours changing the covers of my sofa and making it into two pieces. The way it looked before just looked ridiculous, what was once big, became a little grey speck on the floor ;). It is now 2 white specks with some pillows to lift it...On the other hand, not having it all, e.g 3 chairs and 1 kidchair makes dinnerparties a challenge..., and having to be creative with what I have is a very fun part of it.
So what if I have to wait,,,It will all come together in due time. One thing that I really thankful for is my moms paintings because they are colorful, abstract and different and they really make all these white walls come alive.
